Mandatory courses

Mandatory courses provide core knowledge and skills essential for all insurance professionals.
C11 must be one of the first four courses taken, and C16 must be one of the last three.

Applied professional courses

12 Available
3 Required
Applied professional courses allow you to explore one or more common career paths in the industry.
These courses have prerequisites. See the individual courses for details.

Elective courses

Elective courses allow you to explore an area of interest or deepen a specialty. Some electives have prerequisites.
Additional applied professional courses from the list above may also be taken to complete the elective requirement.

Plan your progress

Many students prefer to take one course per semester, to balance study with their work and personal lives. Others have a schedule that allows them to take two or three courses each semester. You can choose what works for you.  Most students complete the program within two to five years.
