About this course

Course C43 discusses many of the more important specialized types of insurance mentioned only briefly, if at all, in other courses. These include glass insurance, boiler and machinery insurance, aviation insurance and travel health insurance.

What to expect

You will be given a broad overview of each specialized type of insurance, its development, the exposures it addresses, the forms used and the losses they cover and exclude. Information on some types will also extend to current underwriting, rating, and claims-handling practices.
C43: Specialty Lines will be helpful to underwriters, agency or brokerage staff, and adjusters.
