What to expect

C70 is targeted towards junior underwriters and brokers, but will also be of interest to other industry professionals who want a comprehensive p&c education.

We recommend that you complete one of the following before taking C70:
C11: Principles and Practice of Insurance,
The General Insurance Essentials (GIE) program (courses C81 and C82), or
Two years' experience as an insurance industry professional (broker, agent, underwriter, analyst).

Credit towards Commercial or CMGA program
In addition to providing a CIP credit, course C70 can also count towards completing the Commercial Insurance Certificate or the CMGA designation, replacing course B210: Commercial Insurance Essentials.
