Significant changes have been made to Level 2 of RIBO licensing. The changes are part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the licensing qualification process to ensure fair, secure, and high-quality exams for candidates and to enhance the labour mobility of RIBO licensees.

Changes from January 1, 2026:
Exams - Level 2 exams (Commercial and Farm) have been eliminated.
CIP courses - To apply for a Level 2 Licence, you must have completed and passed the exam for CIP courses: C130 and C131.
CRM - If you have a CRM designation you can also apply for a Level 2 Licence.
Fee change - The fee for all RIBO licensing exams have increased from $300 to $325.
