I have been a student, instructor, IIC chapter manager and board member with the Insurance Institute of Canada. I have been in the insurance industry for over 25 years, working in various industry roles including a claims manager role, manager for an independent adjusting company, I managed a family-run broker office and was a division leader with a large broker office network. I have instructed CIP courses in-class, virtually and within industry partner organizations. I have been involved in the industry as the President of the BC Chapter (CICMA) and as the Education Representative for CICMA National. I have previous experience managing property insurance claims at the British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA). Outside of insurance, I enjoy volunteering in various organizations working with marginalized groups and as an advocate for mental health. On my down time I thoroughly enjoy experiencing nature & the outdoors in BC. I genuinely feel rewarded helping students succeed in the education piece and contributing to their overall insurance career journey.
