NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF THE ANNUAL AND SPECIAL MEETING OF MEMBERS OF THE INSURANCE INSTITUTE OF ONTARIO to be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. (local time) at 18 King Street East, 16th Floor, Toronto, ON M5C 1C4 for the following purposes:
Approval of the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on June 26, 2025
Receipt and consideration of the financial statements for the past financial year, together with the auditor’s report thereon for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026
Appointment of auditors to conduct an audit of this financial year, and authorize the Governing Council to fix the renumeration of the auditor
Report on organizational activities
Election of Directors and to fix the number of directors
Any other business which may properly come before this meeting
Members may attend the annual and special meeting of members electronically via Microsoft Teams. As required by the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, a Microsoft Teams link information and instructions for the said meeting will be sent out via an email upon request directly from the Microsoft Teams system to the email that each member has on record with the Corporation.
Members may obtain a copy of the financial statements for the financial year ending March 31, 2026, and the auditor’s report. Request can be sent to iiomail@email.insuranceinstitute.ca.
