Exam changes
If a candidate wishes to fully withdraw, their exam fee will be forfeited.
Candidates are allowed 2 rewrites or 3 attempts in total within a year. After three unsuccessful attempts, the candidate will no longer be eligible for CIP course credits and will need to enroll through regular tuition. Candidates who have not completed their rewrite attempts within a year of their original registration will forfeit their eligibility for credits and may reattempt to take their CIP program through the regular tuition.
Exam breaches and academic dishonesty
The examination will be a closed-book exam and no external materials will be permitted. If a student is found to have breached the exam rule or has acted in an academically dishonest manner, their examination results will be disqualified, and they will not be eligible to receive CIP credits through credit recognition. Students may reattempt to take their CIP through the regular tuition path once their suspension period has passed.
Exam Results
Upon completion of the exam, the student will receive a score report showing a breakdown of their score based on the Examination Blueprint. The student can use the score report to assist in understanding areas where they may need further study.The exam cut score or passmark is set at 60%.
