In operation since 1993, the John E. Lowes Insurance Education Fund is a charitable trust dedicated to annually offering scholarships to Ontario residents pursuing post-secondary education which includes the study of property and casualty insurance.

Specifically, the scholarship offers financial assistance in the form of up to four scholarships to Ontario residents pursuing full-time post-secondary property and casualty insurance studies at a university or college level.

The scholarships are offered through the John E. Lowes Insurance Education Fund and its trustees in partnership with the Insurance Institute of Ontario.
