Our annual celebration of education in the p&c insurance industry is celebrating its tenth anniversary. This is what the Insurance Institute of Nova Scotia has planned - we hope you'll join in!

The Insurance Institute of Nova Scotia is pleased to partner with the Insurance Institutes of New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Prince Edward Island for the second annual Make a Difference Mentorship Award contest.
Take this opportunity to nominate a co-worker, manager, instructor, or anyone else who has had a positive effect on your insurance career. They could win a cash prize, and so could you!

Snow Loads and Structural Collapses
We're in the middle of winter, and seasonal risks are top of mind - particularly that of snow! What comes down soft and white can accumulate and do real damage. Are you up-to-date on the effect of snow loads on structures, and how it relates to insurance? This seminar will give you an understanding of the effects of snow loads on structures, and you'll have the knowledge you need to be able to competently handle and settle insurance claims involving collapse under snow loads.
