This Webinar is
designed for all insurance professionals.
Understand condominium insurance so you can advise Unit Owners and
Boards about the unique aspects of insurance related to their needs within
The Condominium Act (2014) and Regulations (2020) of Alberta.
PRESENTER: Ken De Decker, CIP, CRM

Ken began his insurance career in 1982 in Winnipeg. He has
held positions of increasing responsibility (underwriting, policy construction,
branch management, broker management, pricing, business analytics, claims
interpretation) for major property and casualty Insurers. He spent four
years with a commercial broker in Winnipeg.Format
Ken became a Chartered
Insurance Professional with the Insurance Institute of Canada in 1991 and
obtained his certificate in Risk Management in 1994.
He was an
instructor for the Insurance Institute of Manitoba for 9 years and is active in
the industry as a presenter of many seminars on behalf of the industry groups
and associations. Ken is presently a council member with the Insurance
Institute of Southern Alberta.
During the recent catastrophic
events in Alberta (2016 fire and 2013 flood) he was the lead at the corporate
underwriting level to support claims with policy wording interpretation and
Ken has recently retired and provides consulting to

attendee for groups of 5 or more (membership is additional for
non-members). To register with a corporate rate, please contact
CE Credits: 3.5 CE Hours
Please be aware that tardy arrival to or early departure from any
seminar or, in the case of a webinar an incomplete session as a result of
unresolvable technical difficulties, will preclude IISK from issuing a CE
certificate for the seminar.
Participant substitutions accepted up to 24 hours prior to webinar
(substitute must be current member). IISK reserves the right to cancel the
webinar due to unforeseen circumstances.
