As farms become larger and more complex they require a combination of personal, farm and commercial coverages. Protect yourself and your clients from unexpected and underinsured losses by understanding the unique products and specialized coverage required for these exceptional enterprises.
Our facilitator will provide a comprehensive overview of farm products, both personal and commercial, from the perspective of broker, underwriter and adjuster.

  • Examine what is necessary to classify an entity as a farm and the various types of farms.

  • Recognize the different components of a farm policy.

  • Identify standard and specialty farm exposures and the unique coverages available.

  • Illustrate and analyze common farm losses and how coverages apply to these losses.

  • Discuss unique farm-related cases.
