As an
Insurance Professional, communication is a significant part of the job. There
are many meetings, phone calls, and conversations. In this session we look at
the basics of effective communications. We learn how to plan for important
professional conversations and meetings, how to manage them to get the outcomes
we need, and how to tactfully end them. Increase your confidence in Professional
Communications and increase the results that you get.
Presenter: Stephen P. Franklin:
Stephen has spent the last 32 years helping individuals and
teams with their Professional Development, through seminars, consulting and
individual coaching across. Through his work with the Insurance Institutes, he
has helped many Insurance Professionals find real solutions to some of their
most challenging workplace issues. He is an experienced facilitator,
facilitating in accordance with the International Board of Standards for
Training Performance and Instruction. In his various roles as a public speaker
he has spoken across Canada as well as in the United States and
Australia.
Corporate Rate: For groups of 5 or more $50 /
person (plus membership fee if not a member of the Insurance Institute).

Credits: 2 CE Hours (#40910).
*** Full
attendance is required.*** Late arrival or early departure results in no CE
hours issued as per ICM regulations. For a webinar, this includes a
transmission disruption due to unresolvable technical issues. Partial hours
cannot be issued. Cancellation
Policy: No cancellation allowed. Substitute welcome as long as we are
notified more than 24 hours prior to the webinar. All registrants will receive
an e-mail providing the link to the Webinar the day before.
Membership:
Insurance Institute membership is required. IIMB Membership Fee of
$85.71 + GST is applicable (membership expires May 31,
2024). For assistance to renew or process your membership, please
