Advanced Automobile Forensics - Webinar (CDT)

MB [Carte]
Date and Time: mai 06, 2020 12:00 - 2:30 p.m. CDT

Now more than ever, digital data such as cell phone use (text, calls, etc), GPS track logs, and various recorded vehicle events can shed light on an incident – particularly when you have a suspicious or a tort claim on your hands. The most cutting edge forensic automotive technology can now give claims and legal professionals more information that historically was not recorded by EDR/black boxes or diagnostic trouble codes.

Infotainment system downloads: the emerging technology, what it is, how its evolved, and how forensic experts can acquire the data.  Case examples: how infotainment system data can be utilized for MVAs, alleged thefts and recoveries, vandalism, etc.  Infotainment systems’ limitations will also be discussed, along with a Q&A session.

This seminar is suited for insurance (claims, risk, SIU) and legal professionals.

Speaker:  Kenneth Cowie, Engineer (Kodsi Forensic Engineering)
