Highlights
Our presenters will be taking you through a 4 part series all about farm insurance. Whether you are a new farm insurance broker, an underwriter or planning to become one in the future, you will find the series beneficial.
The series starts with an introduction to farm insurance, and we will gradually take a deep dive into topics such as what can and cannot be insured, what each farm building and piece of equipment looks like, and how to insure them, what information underwriters need, and why they need them. We will also explore some specific areas on managing risks and preventing losses on farms. The series will finish off on AG machinery and the future of farming with new technology available on the market!

Ken has 23 years of insurance experience in underwriting, business development, operations and leadership across many lines of business. He graduated from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Science in Fire Protection Engineering and has obtained his CIP and CRM designation. Ken brings many years of experience in the Farm and Agri-Business segments and is excited to present the first three parts of the Farm Insurance Series.

Mitchell has over nine years of experience in the P&C industry and has experience in claims, business development, and commercial product development. He was the Insurance Operation Manager at Farmers Edge where he obtained extensive knowledge of the most current farming technologies on the North American market. He is also a CIP instructor for the C11 and C13 courses with the Insurance Institute of Manitoba.
