BrokerLink acquires three brokerages in different provinces
BrokerLink has performed another three-peat of P&C brokerage acquisitions, bringing its total number of acquisitions so far this year to nine.
It’s latest deals were announced Monday: Alberta-based John Beal Insurance, Ontario-based Mark Guilbeault & Associates and New Brunswick-based Welch Insurance. All three closed April 1.
In both February and March, BrokerLink acquired three brokerages in Ontario and Alberta.
With its April acquisitions, the brokerage continues to grow its presence in Calgary, while expanding its local presence in Port Colborne, Ont. and Quispamsis, N.B.
For 35 years, John Beal Insurance has served Calgary and the surrounding area, building lasting, multi-generational customer relationships. According to its website, the brokerage offers a variety of insurance, including home, auto, condo, life and commercial lines.
The brokerage is also committed to giving back, BrokerLink says in a press release. For example, it supports the Calgary Food Bank through ongoing donations and team volunteer efforts, while also contributing to local schools, sports and charitable organizations.
“With a strong culture of teamwork and customer care, the team remains focused on serving both its customers and community,” BrokerLink says.
In Ontario, Mark Guilbeault & Associates is a full-service brokerage founded in 2001. “Known for delivering knowledgeable, high-quality service, the team offers personal, commercial, life and disability insurance and has deep expertise when it comes to providing small- to mid-sized customers with commercial and farm insurance,” BrokerLink says in the release.
It has also demonstrated a strong commitment to Port Colborne through ongoing support of local initiatives for more than 20 years.
For its part, Welch Insurance has built a strong reputation since 1985 as a customer-focused brokerage, recognized for its approachable service and lasting customer relationships, BrokerLink reports.
“Specializing in personal home, auto insurance and more, the team prides itself on treating every customer with exceptional care and attention. The brokerage supports youth sports and faith-based organizations, and has built strong relationships across Quispamsis and its outlying area.”
BrokerLink president Joe D’Annunzio says the acquisitions “mark an exciting step forward for BrokerLink as we continue to grow our presence in Calgary, Alberta and expand into new communities in Port Colborne, Ontario, and Quispamsis, New Brunswick. Each brokerage brings strong local relationships and deep community roots, and we’re proud to welcome our new employees as we extend BrokerLink’s reach across Canada.”
