VANCOUVER, BC, AUGUST 8, 2025/insPRESS/ – Specialty Program Group Canada Inc. is proud to announce our intent to rebrand our Managing General Agency (MGA) brands—Cansure, Beacon, i3 Underwriting Services, Totten Insurance Group, and Anderson McTague & Associates—under a single, unified national identity: SPG Canada.

This rebrand will bring together the extensive product offerings and deep expertise of our legacy brands across 21 commercial, personal, and specialty verticals. Brokers will continue to access the SPGC Portal to quote, bind, and issue policies across personal, commercial, and specialty products— with additional offerings launching this year.

This strategic move marks a major milestone in our journey to streamline operations, enhance service delivery, and support continued growth across Canada. As the country’s largest Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprise (DUAE), transacting over $1 billion in annual premiums, SPG Canada remains committed to product innovation and a technology-enabled market strategy—positioning us as the go-to insurance provider for Canadian brokers seeking tailored solutions and exceptional service.

The rebrand will roll out in phases, aligned with the integration of our verticals into a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This proprietary platform will modernize our policy management, underwriting, and accounting systems, delivering a more seamless and efficient experience for our partners.

The first teams to adopt the new SPG Canada branding will be Buildersure by Cansure, an award-winning team known for its market-leading construction and wrap-up liability insurance solutions. This team will rebrand as SPG Canada Construction, becoming the first to benefit from the efficiencies of our new technology and the unified brand identity. At the same time, our i3 Underwriting brand will be rebranded SPG Canada. This will impact all i3 Underwriting products, operations, and underwriting teams. From here, we will continue to evolve Cansure, Beacon, and Totten to SPG Canada by underwriting verticals through to the end of 2025. We anticipate our Quebec team and Anderson McTague team to rebrand in 2026.

Each of our legacy MGA brands brings a rich history of innovation, regional expertise, and entrepreneurial spirit. Their contributions have laid the foundation for what SPG Canada represents today—a dynamic national platform dedicated to empowering underwriters, brokers, and customers alike.

“Our goal is to build on the strengths of our legacy brands while creating a unified identity that reflects our scale, ambition, and commitment to excellence” said Cameron Copeland, President and CEO. “SPG Canada will continue to foster the entrepreneurial culture that has always been the heart of our business. We’re excited to embark on this next chapter and thank our partners for their continued trust and support as we continue to deliver greater value to our carrier and broker partners, and our policyholder customers under a unified national brand and platform.”
