Mr. Stephen Franklin works with Managers and
Supervisors, almost daily, on how to increase the levels of productivity,
performance or professionalism from staff. Also on how to resolve issues
when staff are under performing, under producing or when they are exhibiting
problem behaviors. This is an issue of concern for many companies and
organizations, managers and supervisors still struggle with. The solution is the
ability to use 2 critical skill sets together.
1- The ability to foster an emotional
state which we call motivation and engagement among staff. This
creates the attitude of cooperation we need from them to move forward.
2- The skill set of managing staff,
how to have the conversation and encourage the changes we need from
them.
Many Managers and Supervisors feel uncomfortable dealing
with staff issues, but it is an unavoidable part of the job. For some, their
discomfort comes from the dread of conflict. For others, it is simply not
knowing how to do it properly. This session looks at the proper way to deal with
staff issues that is both effective, tactful and respectful.
