Fire investigation is all about the science! A fire cause is not so because the investigator says it is, it's so because the science says it can't be otherwise. This session will take you through an in-depth tour of the due process involved in a fire investigation and further widely recognized by the courts. Gain a better understanding of fire by exploring how it ignites, evolves and can be misread!

Scott Broad, CFEI, CVFI,
Regional Director, Envista Forensics
Scott Broad is an internationally certified
fire and explosion investigator, internationally certified vehicle fire
investigator, and internationally certified fire investigation instructor. He
has investigated over 1500 fires and he is well-recognized as a vehicle and
electrical fire expert. Scott is the Past-President of the Canadian Association
of Fire Investigators and is a member of the International Association of Arson
Investigators, National Association of Fire Investigators, and the Society of
Automotive Engineers where he sits on the NFPA 921 Vehicle Fire Steering
Cancellation Policy: No

(substitute must be current member). IIBC reserves the right to cancel the
seminar due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur, registration fees
will be refunded.
