This seminar will re-visit the Statutory Conditions and explore them as they relate to the day to day placing of insurance and handling of claims. It will include:

  • A review of the statutory conditions

  • Discussion of claims denials in the context of the statutory conditions

  • Overview of case law related to statutory condition issues

  • Duties of insurance professionals related to statutory conditions

  • Errors and omissions implications for insurance professionals resulting from the statutory conditions

    Karen MacWilliam, BA, FCIP, CRM, is a consultant and educator with 30 years experience, focusing on risk management and insurance analysis.
