During this valuable session, you will be given an overview of the "insurance sales professional" role as well as certain characteristic traits that a sales professional possesses. Through numerous examples using both personal lines and commercial lines insurance, you will be led through the progress of a sale from the initial contact with the client, to determining the needs and closing the sale.

By the end of the seminar, you will be able to demonstrate:

Knowledge of the role of the sales agent/broker in the insurance transaction
How to create initial contact with a client including conquering the fear of networking, proper telephone etiquette, approaching the initial meeting
How to determine the client's needs and wants by communicating effectively
How to prepare for and create a sales presentation
How to close the sale including dealing with objections, effective closing techniques, follow-up and asking for referrals
