Risk selection is the key to profitability. This seminar will teach you some of the commercial automobile criteria that will allow you to better assess risk to improve your account selection success as an underwriter, and to improve your submission documentation as a broker.

This session is targeted towards experienced and entry level brokers, auto underwriters, transportation company management & safety personnel.

Learning Outcomes:

Identify the primary exposures relative to a commercial automobile risk.
Be aware that the best practice, best in class, mastery, due diligence, corporate safety culture are not just terms to be taken lightly.
Know some of the tell-tale signs of a good or bad risk.
Be familiar with CVOR abstracts and SaferSys/SMS reports for commercial vehicles and drivers.
Recognize the value of a commercial automobile risk assessment and understand how it is a valuable tool in your arsenal.
