The Insitute's 2016 Emerging Issues Research Report, Automated Vehicles: Implications for the Insurance Industry in Canada , assessed the development of automated vehicles on Canadian roads, and raised many questions for the insurance industry.

In the two years following, there have been many new developments. Join us for an engaging update on the latest around automated vehicles, including the status of the technology, guidelines for the safe testing and deployment of automated vehicles on Canadian roads, as well as market diffusion of automated vehicles and implications for sprawl, transit, infrastructure (and uncertainty regarding each).
