If you are new to insurance and have limited knowledge
of the P&C insurance industry, this half day seminar is for you. Its purpose is
to provide you an overview of the developments and functions of P&C
insurance, introduce basic concepts and key roles in the process.

Darius is the Past Chair of the Rims Canada Council
(RCC), the Past President of the Southern Alberta Risk and Insurance Management
Society (SARIMS) and the past Associate Vice President, Risk Services for Mount
Royal University. He has taught various courses at York University,
University of Calgary and Bow Valley College - he also sits on the Bow Valley
College advisory board of the Risk Management Diploma Program. Darius started
his career as an insurance adjuster, worked as a commercial underwriter and was
a commercial broker before becoming a risk manager. He has a well rounded
understanding of the entire insurance risk eco-system and how it benefits the
many parties involved.
