Effective Communication Skills are
critical for every Insurance Professional, and our daily communications need to
be professional. In this webinar you will learn what professional
communications look like and why it is important, and the standards of professionalism will be applied
to all of our communications. And as we are working remotely
now, more than ever, we look at how to make our Instant Messages,
whether they be via text message or by a platform such as
Microsoft Teams, more professional.
Increasing our professionalism will increase our results
and our success as an Insurance Professional.
Webinar Objectives:
- the definition of professionalism in terms of business
communications with co-workers, bosses, clients, external partners, etc.
- the rise of texts and IM as a business communications tool and the
rules and etiquette for texts and IM
- using MS Teams as a communications
tool
- professional business emails.
Speaker:
Stephen P. Franklin - Stephen has spent the last 30 years
helping individuals and teams with their Professional Development through
seminars, consulting and individual coaching. Through his work with the
Insurance Institutes, he has helped many Insurance Professionals find real
solutions to some of their most challenging workplace issues. He is an
experienced facilitator, facilitating in accordance with the International Board
of Standards for Training Performance and Instruction. In his various
roles as a public speaker he has spoken across Canada as well as in the United
States and Australia.
