Additional Insureds - All You Need to Know

This course will address how, when, and why to add
additional insureds to policies and will examine the legal and claims
consequences of doing so. Various certificate and endorsement forms will be
discussed plus recent court decisions regarding the coverage granted to
additional insureds will be reviewed. The seminar will also examine the
underwriting information required to understand the risks associated with adding
additional insureds and will discuss risk mitigation strategies for insurance
Brokers: Learn how and why to add
additional insureds and the E & O implications of doing so.
Underwriters: Learn what questions
to ask and how to add Additional Insureds appropriately. Understand how the
courts have granted coverage to Additional Insureds.
Claims Adjusters: Learn how the
policy provides and does not provide coverage for Additional Insureds and the
policy conditions that may provide or exclude coverage.
