Stephanie,

I wanted to recognize you and congratulate you on the wonderful achievement of obtaining your CIP designation!

This is no small feat, and you dedicated a lot of hard work into successfully obtaining this designation. Well, all your study hours have paid off!! The day you have been waiting for is finally here.

Please take a few minutes this evening to celebrate and truly congratulate yourself on a job well done. 2020 will go down in the books for many reasons due to the pandemic, but I know it will be memorable for you obtaining your CIP as well.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the CIP Graduates for their successful completion of the CIP Designation Program. A special mention to one of our own Aon colleagues, Rob Bennett, whose hard work and dedication has certainly paid off. The CIP designation represents a national standard for professionalism, technical expertise and leadership in the P&C sector. All of you should be very proud of your accomplishment. The countless hours, months of preparation, working around family schedules, and COVID-19, did not deter you from reaching the result, SUCCESS! May you all have continued success in all future endeavors. Congratulations on a job well done!

STEPS TO BECOMING A CIP DURING THE PANDEMIC

When you successfully complete your final exam in the CIP program, you are automatically eligible to graduate, but a few steps need to happen before you can begin using your CIP designation.

First, we need to ensure you meet the academic and employment requirements of the program, including at least one year of full-time employment in the industry. If we require any additional information from you, you will be notified by email.

Next, the formalities begin! Your name is put forward for election at the next meeting of the Board of Governors. This year, a special election will take place in late November 2020. Students who wrote (and passed!) their final exam in August were eligible to start using the CIP designation on December 1, 2020. Students who completed their CIP courses in December 2020 will be invited to attend convocation as a graduate next year (2022).
