Audience | This half-day seminar for adjusters, brokers and underwriters is a continuation of the "Introduction to Business Interruption Insurance" seminar to gain a deeper understanding of this topic. Attendance at the introductory seminar is not a prerequisite to attend this seminar. All attendees welcome.

Through the use of problem-based learning and numerical examples, this half-day seminar will provide you with a practical understanding of business interruption insurance.

Read financial statements for a business operation
Analyze and project loss of sales
Calculate business interruption losses (profits/earnings as defined)
Discuss increase in cost of working (extra expenses) and saved expenses
Discuss ordinary payroll options and payroll coverage issues
Examine application of coinsurance
