Convocation is a special time to honour the hard work and dedication of the Insurance Institute’s newest graduates of the Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), Advanced Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP(Adv)), and Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) programs as well as recipients of the Risk Management certificate and the General Insurance Essentials (GIE) certificate. 2017 Guest Speakers:
Lynn Oldfield, President & Chief Executive Officer AIG Insurance Company of Canada
As President and Chief Executive Officer, Lynn Oldfield leads AIG Insurance Company of Canada in executing the company's vision to be its customers most valued insurer. Lynn joined AIG in 1991as an underwriting manager and since that time she has held a variety of management positions encompassing underwriting, client and broker relationship management as well as sales and marketing before assuming the role of President in 2008.
Sue Deyell, Local Personality
Sue is known for her sense of humour and ability to charm a crowd. Sue is currently the Morning Traffic Announcer on 660 News, and hosts the Evening Show on KiSS 95.9 and is on the Board of Directors for Women Talk Canada.
