    John Valeriote, BA, FCIP, FRM, CFEI, Executive General Adjuster & Director Mediation & Appraisal Services - Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc.
    John has over 25 years of industry experience, specializing in multi-line, complex claims. As a claims professional, he has held roles in large insurance carriers and independent adjusting firms, with positions ranging from senior field adjuster and claims manager to executive general adjuster. Complementing John’s professional expertise is his educational background, which includes a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) designation, a Financial Risk Management (FRM) designation and a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University. John leads Crawford’s property appraisal practice and handle complex claims.

    David D. LeBlanc, B.A., C.I.P., Vice President - National Fire Adjustment
    As one of the first individuals to be licensed as a public adjuster in Ontario directly out of the Institute’s C.I.P. program, David has handled a wide array of claims from basic residential losses to complex commercial losses in excess of $100 million. Throughout his career he has participated in well over 200 appraisals. After earning his undergraduate degree from McMaster University he worked for 7 years with a Fortune 500 company in various roles, primarily focused in Finance and Risk Management. In 2006 he joined NFA and started on the road to his career in the insurance adjustment field. He has been called on to be a panel member and presenter for Osgoode Hall Law School’s Professional Development and Continuing Education Program. David had presented to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association on several claim related topics including appraisal. He has also been called upon on many occasions by media outlets to provide commentary and insight on insurance related matters. David is a member of the Insurance Institute of Canada, The C.I.P. Society, and the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA). He is a firm believer that the appraisal process, while not perfect, is an efficient and cost effective path to resolution for the great majority of claims where there is a dispute with respect to the value of loss.

    Glenn is a global, award-winning author and speaker having delivered +500 presentations and publishing +250 articles. He is a past-Chair of the Board for the Insurance Institute of Canada and has achieved 7 designations in his career including his first one as a 'Chartered Insurance Professional' (CIP). He is recognized as an 'International Executive General Adjuster' (EGA) and has participated in a leadership role in case-managing a number of catastrophic global events. Glenn has the very unique teaching partnership with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives for +25-years for the development and execution of their curriculum. Glenn believes in volunteerism and has served on +25 boards in his career. He is presently the Chair of the Board for the Property & Casualty Compensation Corporation (PACICC) which is an industry-funded backstop for any insolvency in our Canadian market. Beyond this, Glenn has +20 years' experience in the C-suite including +12-years in global operations.
