Webinar

Date and Time: November 15, 2019 10:00am - 11:00am

Automobile fleet insurance is very different from personal and traditional commercial auto insurance, and insurance professionals—including brokers and claims professionals—need to know the difference.

For brokers, to determine if this risk belongs on your books or not, you need to first understand the unique risk factors of a fleet and the risk avoidance techniques insureds should use. If it does belong on your books, asking the right questions and gathering the right information will equip your underwriting team to properly rate the risk. As a claims adjuster, you’ll be able to better manage a thorough claims investigation by understanding the unique risks that come with fleet insurance.

In this Member Bonus webinar, you’ll learn the basics of fleet insurance from a seasoned pro. Invest an hour in yourself, increase your knowledge, and ultimately improve your impact on the job.

Who should attend?

  • Brokers
  • Claims adjusters
  • Anyone looking for foundational information or a refresher on automobile fleet

At the end of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Explain the key differences between fleet and regular commercial automobile insurance.
  • Describe four key criteria for assessing risk of a fleet and how these risks impact rates and claims.
  • Identify the top 10 questions every commercial broker needs to ask anyone applying for commercial automobile (fleet or non-fleet) insurance.

This webinar is a Member Bonus offering: complimentary for IIO members. We reached out to our CIP students to ask them what concepts they could do with a little clarification on. Over 300 of you responded, and this topic was one of the clear winners. We’re pleased to be able to provide you with this bonus to both your professional development and your Insurance Institute membership. Not a member or want to learn more?
