Mental Health is defined as a person’s condition with regards to their psychological, mental and emotional well-being. Positive mental health is further defined by criteria or characteristics such as those put forth by the Canadian Mental Health Association.

The unprecedented circumstances of the last year and a half have created unusual levels of personal stress, with significant amounts of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA), putting serious pressure on our ability to maintain a positive state of mental health. In this session we look at how to protect or even re-build a positive state of psychological, mental and emotional well-being.

> The Canadian Mental Health Association’s 5 criteria of positive mental health
> The relationship between stress and mental health
> Coping strategies for dealing with stress
> Impact of negativity on mental health
> Personal negativity assessment
> Strategies for improving our mental health

Mr. Franklin has over 27 years experience and he goes that extra mile to ensure that each participant has the resources they need to succeed. He is also known to includes extensive personal coaching; helping clients develop personal motivation for professional skills development, facilitating them through the necessary behaviour changes. His training approach includes a strong focus on the practical rather than theoretical.
