Cyber is imperative in the Canadian marketplace. However, the number of Canadian business impacted by cyber security incidents has been increasing in these years. What types of threats are out there? Who is at risk? And how can your clients protect themselves?

In this webinar, our speaker will examine some of the insurance coverages available, including business interruption and liability, focusing on small to mid-sized commercial enterprises. We will also look at cyber awareness, cyber 'hygiene,' and some resources for further education.

Webinar Objectives

• Explore current cyber news in Canada, regarding cyber crime and cyber security topics.
• Examine types of cyber attacks and threats, cyber hygiene and cyber education.
• Explore various Commercial Cyber Insurance, including Continuing evolution, Cyber Risks and SMEs and available coverages.
• Provide cyber resources for brokers and their clients.

Anita Bailey, CIP, BA (Hons)

Anita Bailey has been in the insurance industry for over 12 years. She started in the clerical department with a major insurer before moving to Accident Benefits claims and later Commercial Auto underwriting. She has been in her current role as Business Development Representative for HSB Canada for two and a half years. When she’s not discussing Equipment Breakdown, Anita is a symphony violinist, a competitive dragon boater, and an amateur boxer.

*** Full attendance is required.*** Late arrival or early departure results in no CE hours issued as per ICM regulations. For a webinar, this includes a transmission disruption due to unresolvable technical issues. Partial hours cannot be issued. 

Cancellation Policy: No cancellation allowed. Substitute welcome as long as we are notified more than 24 hours prior to the webinar. All registrants will receive an e-mail providing the link to the Webinar the day before.
