Congratulations on your graduation!
While your Convocation 2020 is going to look different for you, your accomplishment did not change. You have put forth the same hard work, you have learned and grown so much and you should be proud of your achievement. As a teacher by profession and a CIP instructor, I encourage you to lifelong learning, and to never stop challenging yourself to succeed in everything that you do. Education is the key to success and you have proven today that you know the importance of continued learning.
Again, I offer you my sincere congratulations on your achievement.

STEPS TO BECOMING A CIP DURING THE PANDEMIC
When you successfully complete your final exam in the CIP program, you are automatically eligible to graduate, but a few steps need to happen before you can begin using your CIP designation.
First, we need to ensure you meet the academic and employment requirements of the program, including at least one year of full-time employment in the industry. If we require any additional information from you, you will be notified by email.
Next, the formalities begin! Your name is put forward for election at the next meeting of the Board of Governors. This year, a special election will take place in late November 2020. Students who wrote (and passed!) their final exam in August were eligible to start using the CIP designation on December 1, 2020. Students who completed their CIP courses in December 2020 will be invited to attend convocation as a graduate next year (2022).
