to navigate, especially for those who
are not familiar with the legal system.
With various laws, regulations and policies governing construction
projects it is essential to have a clear
understanding of the legal frame
work to avoid disputes. Get an overview of the various construction laws and types of construction
claims that can occur, both during and after construction completes.

Twining
Alex joined Whitelaw Twining in 2007 and
has broad experience before all levels of the British Columbia
courts. Alex's practice focuses on construction, commercial and
professional liablity matters. In addition, he has particular expertise in
construction insurance, warranty and surety related matters.

May began her
career at Whitelaw Twining in 2013. She has appeared on behalf of
clients at all levels of courts in British Columbia. May practices in the
area of general insurance litigation with a focus on construction and
professional liability matters. She has extensive experience dealing with
new home warranty litigation on both the defence and recovery sides.

attendance is required.*** Late arrival or early departure results in no CE
hours issued as per ICM regulations. For a webinar, this includes a
transmission disruption due to unresolvable technical issues. Partial hours
cannot be issued.
Cancellation Policy: No cancellation
allowed. Substitute welcome as long as we are notified more than 24 hours prior
to the webinar. All registrants will receive an e-mail providing the link to the
