Seminars & Webinars
Keeping you at the forefront of the Industry
In this ever-changing industry, keeping up with new products and emerging issues is a career necessity. So even as a graduate, the learning process is never complete and all members really do need to commit to lifelong learning and professional development. To help keep you at the forefront of industry issues, the CIP Society offers a variety of seminars under the PROedge banner and an annual calendar of national webinars under the ADVANTAGE Live banner. PROedge seminars are usually full-day or half-day seminars. Advantage Live webinars are usually 60 to 75 minutes.
Society seminars and webinars offer you an advance-level learning experience including application of knowledge and skills, case studies, workshops and topical discussions. Topics for seminars and webinars are determined via input from our annual member survey, Institute Chairs, Institute/Chapter managers, the CIP Society National Council, seminar participants’ evaluations, and local seminar committees.
Participants may be eligible for provincially recognized continuing professional development/education credits, where applicable. While national in scope and development, the seminars are often presented by, or in combination with, local instructors/presenters to ensure applicability and relevance for seminar attendees.
Please contact your local Institute or Chapter for upcoming seminars delivered in person near you.

The Institute also offers additional learning opportunities including the Success Series seminars which are targeted at our ‘undergraduate’ members, the Fundamental series offering introductory education on key insurance principles and practice, as well as programs for claims, brokers and those looking for personal and professional development.
We encourage you to find the right fit for you and/or your staff development objectives. Contact your local Institute or Chapter to help identify what learning opportunities you can access in your area.
