Two Rhind Scholarships Awarded This Year | More Scholarships Available

Rhind Scholarships imageThis year, the CIP Society awarded $1,500 scholarships to two Society members pursuing further education related to the p&c insurance industry, and who are not being financially supported by their employer.

Jennifer McLean of Kamloops, BC, pursuing the Advanced CIP program, and Anju Sharma of Brampton, ON, pursuing the Risk Management Certificate program, were awarded the scholarships this summer. Congratulations to Jennifer and Anju on their current achievements and future successes!

The Rhind Scholarships prioritize CIP Society members who are pursuing FCIP or Advanced CIP programs, in a three tiers of eligibility for the program. Find out how you or your dependents may qualify for a CIP Society Rhind Scholarship for the 2019/2020 school year.

The Institute, as an educational body, also supports the following scholarship programs for applicants pursuing a career in the p&c insurance industry:

Toronto Insurance Conference (TIC) Scholarships - National

The Toronto Insurance Conference (TIC) is proud to offer up to three (3) $5,000 university scholarships for applicants sponsored by TIC brokers, partners and staff, as well as other applicants who intend on a career in an insurance brokerage. Learn more.

John E. Lowes Insurance Education Fund - Ontario

The John E. Lowes Insurance Education Fund offers up to two (2) scholarships of $2,500 and up to two (2) scholarships of $1,500 to be given to eligible Ontario resident(s) pursuing full-time post-secondary studies at a recognized college or university. Learn more.

Lloyd King Scholarships - Atlantic Provinces

Introduced in 2009, the Lloyd King Scholarships award financial assistance for up to two (2) qualifying residents of Atlantic Canada who are pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must be employed in the p&c insurance industry or a dependent of, or immediately related to, an individual who is employed in the industry and a member of the Insurance Institute within Canada.
