‘3 Candid Student Stories,’ features three CIP graduates you who went further with their education at the Insurance Institute . Their inspiring stories can help clarify your own post CIP options with either the FCIP or the Advanced CIP.



The Advanced CIP will prepare CIP graduates for greater challenges facing the industry. For CIP graduates who do not hold a university degree, it provides an alternate route into the Institute’s FCIP program (see below). The four-course Advanced CIP is open to those who have completed the CIP designation.


The FCIP program provides a comprehensive business education with a unique p&c insurance focus.
