C45: Surety Bonds

This elective will no longer be offered following the December 2017 exam. All rewrites, deferrals, and continued tuition must be completed no later than the December 2018 exam session without exception.

Please note that the final examination for this course is a computer-based exam.

Surety Bonds is an introductory study of suretyship. Because suretyship is dominated by the construction industry, the text for Surety Bonds focuses on this aspect of it. The business of bonding construction projects, the surety bonds required, underwriting, claims-handling and legal issues are covered. This introduction to surety bonds also provides a brief glimpse of miscellaneous bonds.
