At the end of the session, the participant will be able to : Know the legal obligations that apply to driving; Explain the scope of coverage under Chapters A and B for driving a rented or borrowed vehicle; Assist clients in choosing coverage if they plan to rent or borrow a vehicle.
This training course is dedicated to agents, brokers, claims adjusters, risk managers and their managers.
This course is divided into three parts. First, we introduce you to contractual and extra-contractual obligations as defined in the Civil Code of Québec, as well as the obligations imposed on the use of a vehicle by the Automobile Insurance Act. Then, by exploring the clauses in Chapters A and B of the QOF Auto Insurance Form #1, we explain the scope of coverage that applies when the insured borrows or leases a vehicle. Finally, with the help of a practical exercise, you will apply the concepts you have learned. At the very end of the presentation, we invite you to take AFC 10096 - Non-owned vehicles (advanced notions).
