A team of seasoned insurance professionals has founded a new brokerage in Manitoba, aimed at providing personalized, community-first coverage across the province.

Galaxy Insurance Brokers will be led by three experienced insurance leaders with deep roots in the communities they serve, the brokerage says in a press release. “Fluent in Punjabi, Hindi & English, the team is committed to engaging with Manitoba’s South Asian community.”

The full-service brokerage provides a range of commercial and personal insurance solutions, carefully tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals, families, and businesses across Manitoba. Product offerings include auto, business, construction, cyber, home, life, truck/fleet, and watercraft insurance as well as group benefits solutions, according to the brokerage’s website.

Galaxy Insurance Brokers is led by:

  • Jitender Sardana, president and managing partner
  • Palvinder Dhaliwal, vice president of commercial lines and partner
  • Surinderjit Bhroat, vice president of personal lines and partner

All three hold CAIB (Canadian accredited insurance broker) and CIP (chartered insurance professional) designations.

“Having built their careers and strong client relationships at Coughlin Insurance Brokers, the trio recognized the opportunity to create a brokerage that more directly reflects the values, diversity, and evolving needs of their growing client base,” the release says. “With the support of that foundation, Galaxy Insurance Brokers now stands as an independent, locally led firm committed to protecting what matters most to Manitobans.”

A number of long-standing clients from Coughlin Insurance — previously served by Sardana, Dhaliwal, and Bhroat — will now be welcomed under the Galaxy Insurance Brokers banner. Additionally, the office at 16 – 2188 McPhillips St. in Winnipeg and 2 – 11 Vervain Drive in Centreport, Man. will change over to Galaxy Insurance Brokers, “ensuring continuity for both clients and the team.”

Galaxy Insurance Brokers says on its website a second location in Winnipeg at B103 – 2777 McPhillips St. will open this fall.
