TORONTO, ON, MAY 5, 2025/insPRESS/ – Stewart Specialty Risk Underwriting Ltd. (SSRU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Howard, P.Eng., as Vice President, Property, effective May 5, 2025.

Mr. Howard brings more than 25 years of experience in risk engineering and technical underwriting, with specialized expertise in heavy industry, energy, and large commercial property risks. His background includes leadership roles at SCOR Canada, GCAN Insurance, and Marsh Canada, as well as hands-on technical experience with Factory Mutual. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Toronto and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
