Traci Boland’s path to insurance leadership began in law, security, and elite sport. A former synchronized skating coach, she led a team to a Canadian National Championship and coached internationally with Team Finland and Team USA. After 9/11, she returned to Canada and joined her father’s brokerage, where she found a new passion in mentoring brokers and developing future leaders. She went on to serve in key industry roles, including Past Chair of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario, Past Chair and Governor of the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada, and Canada’s representative to the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (2024–2025). Today, Traci is a Partner at Ontario West Insurance Brokers in London, Ontario. Named among the Top 100 Insurance Professionals globally and to Canada’s Top Insurance Leaders Hot List (2025), she is known as a change coach and a strong advocate for the broker channel.
Anna brings 34 years of commercial underwriting and leadership experience and has held various roles in both global and Canadian organizations. Anna’s achievements include being the 2019 recipient of the Steamatic Canada Award for Woman of Distinction presented by Insurance Business Canada and recognized in 2020 as one of Insurance Business Canada’s top 45 Elite Women. She is a member of the Board of the Institute of Catastrophic Loss Reduction (ICLR), and a former Governor and Chair of the Academic Council for the Insurance Institute of Canada. Anna holds an FCIP, CRM, an Honours BA from the University of Toronto, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School. She also received the top student FCIP award.
Dionne is a dynamic insurance leader with 25+ years of experience. She is a National Business Development Account Executive at Markel Canada, driving broker relationships and growth, and also runs a consulting business focused on training and development for insurance professionals. She serves as a facilitator with Ontario post-secondary institutions. A Co-Founder and Former Chair of the Canadian Association of Black Insurance Professionals, Dionne is passionate about advocacy, mentorship, education, and networking in the industry. She holds a degree in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Ottawa, a diploma in Public & Private Investigations from Sheridan College, and the FCIP designation, along with CRM and RIBO credentials. Dionne is a published author, was named Instructor of the Year (Insurance Institute of Canada, Ontario Chapter, 2023), and recognized among the Top 100 Insurance Professionals globally (2025). Outside of work, she enjoys mentoring, community involvement, travel, and sports.
Melissa Maloney is a strategist, speaker, and Co-Founder of AWL Partners, helping organizations close the gap between strategy and execution. With 25+ years of executive leadership experience, she works at the intersection of business strategy and human behaviour. At AWL Partners, she applies the Willingness–Clarity Matrix to identify hidden barriers to execution, then builds systems and leadership practices that drive lasting results. She specializes in sales performance, change execution, and leadership development, grounded in the belief that most performance issues stem from gaps in clarity or willingness—not skill. Melissa is also Co-Founder of All Women LEAD, advancing women in leadership through national programs and partnerships. Her debut book, The Happy Leader (March 2026), explores how emotional intelligence, trust, and clarity fuel high-performing teams. A sought-after speaker, she is known for delivering practical, actionable insights on modern leadership.
