Webinar Overview: Understanding the Claims Process – The Legal Dimension This webinar provides a focused look at the legal aspects of the insurance claims process and the critical roles played by brokers, insurers, and insureds. Participants will explore both first-party and third-party claims, covering the legal role and limitations of brokers, the duties and obligations of insurers and insureds, understanding concurrent loss exclusions, the roles of independent and company adjusters, and the duty to defend along with the application of good faith principles. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the legal responsibilities in claims management, equipping them to advise clients confidently and navigate complex situations with legal insight.
