Justin McConville leads health, safety, and environmental programs across Canada. With 20+ years of experience in the environmental and restoration industries, Justin has developed deep expertise in asbestos management, hazardous materials surveys, and regulatory compliance within construction, restoration, and insurance-related projects. He regularly works with insurers, consultants, and contractors to improve standards for hazardous materials surveys and ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Justin also volunteers and chairs the Fire and Flood Restoration committee (FFRP).
Steven oversees a team of prevention officers focusing on construction in the lower mainland. He is the manager of interest for asbestos and was involved with the development and implementation of licensing and certification in the asbestos abatement. Steven has been with WorkSafeBC since 2007 and prior to that, he worked in residential construction and hazardous materials consulting. Steven has a diploma of technology in Occupational Health and Safety from BCIT and holds a CRSP designation.
