Human Factors in Collision Reconstruction

Explore how drivers perceive hazards, respond to changing road conditions, and how these human factors can impact the outcome of collisions

The term "human factors" covers a wide range of issues related to motor vehicle collision reconstruction. It includes how people see the environment in which they are driving, how they respond to hazards on the road, and how quickly they can react to rapidly changing circumstances. The way in which a driver sees and responds to a hazard may prevent, cause, diminish, or worsen the severity of a collision. In this webinar, Kenneth Cowie of CEP Forensic will lead you through an introduction to Human Factors research and analysis of how drivers interact with the world. Using real-world case examples, attendees will learn how human factors analysis can be applied to motor vehicle collisions, to ultimately assist claims professionals in resolving their cases.
