About this course

Auto insurance reforms will be coming into effect in Ontario effective July 1, 2026. The Insurance Institute has worked with the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) and the Ontario Mutual Insurance Association (OMIA) in developing a free, on-demand training course to help you understand the changes and apply them with confidence in your everyday duties.

We’ll walk through the key SABS reforms that directly affect claims handling: including new benefit limits and structures, and how the new OPCF-47 Priority of Payments endorsement will impact investigations.
