  2. Courses must be taken at Canadian universities to be eligible for an FCIP course credit.
  3. Register your courses with the Institute.
  4. Upon successful completion of your final course, if you have maintained membership with your local institute and have abided by the Institute’s Code of Ethics, your name will be submitted for election as an FCIP in May or October.

January 1, 2012:  Entry to the original track FCIP closes for students without university degrees - students who have completed the requirements of the CIP program and do not hold a university degree may enrol in the original track if their first course begins prior to this date.

Pre-requisite: Students must have obtained a designation from The Insurance Institute of Canada (CIP, AIIC) to register for the FCIP Program.
